Arch
Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1957 by John Orlando. A sewing
machine mechanic by trade, John started Arch Sewing in his basement
rebuilding sewing machines. Initially, Arch Sewing was located on the street
it was named after Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
the heart of the local sewing industry. Here Arch earned it's reputation
as being the place to go to purchase your sewing machines and parts.
The place to get an honest and fair deal. A tradition that continues
to this day.
Today Arch Sewing has grown into a family run operation. John,
together with his children; Anthony, Joseph and Josephine are Arch
Sewing. Now located at 7th and Callowhill Streets, Arch Sewing boasts
a 25,000 square foot facility, with a 25 car parking lot, 3 loading
docks and a 75,000 sq./ft warehouse.
Arch specializes in Men's suit machinery, such as Singer,
Brother, Pfaff, Juki, and many more. We also carry a very large
inventory of used machines as well
as parts and accessories. Their unique
location and experience allows Arch to be competitive in this day's
market and supplies sewing machines and parts all over the world.
